Pioneering Solutions Studio is committed to supplying a system that is compliant with the Consumer Protections Act of South Africa. Users have the right to activate and deactivate correspondence receivable from a correspondence list, displayed in the user profile setup, at any time. The correspondence list allows for updates from the relevant industry to be supplied to users, with their permission.
Users can choose to receive updates on all topics depicted in the correspondence list or may turn off notifications, which will result in no correspondence being sent to users by the Pioneering Solutions Studio system.
You may update your correspondence list setup at any time by accessing your user profile after logging onto the system.
Pioneering Solutions Studio is committed to the confidentiality of our clients, which is why we do not require any personal information to register a profile.
All that is required from the healthcare professionals to register a profile is:
* Council numbers are required by the various industry council guidelines on CPD to ensure that all CPD certificates are accurate and valid.
** A valid ID number is required by the Department of Higher Education for the issuing of any certificate, upon the completion of an accredited training course.
The Pioneering Solutions Studio system has been developed to ensure the validity of access to information and does not allow for industry representatives to access user profiles or information and vice versa. User access is controlled by the sharing user and users may even limit access within their own profession and specialty.

Education Manager & Your Education History
Please note that this information is only required and obtained from you, should you wish to make use of the Education Manager. Please note that your Individual Activity Record (IAR) will only be submitted to and shared with the industry council relating to your profession, should you wish to do so. Submission of information to said council is only processed upon your digital instruction. You are not required to setup your Education Manager and provide PSS with this information, should you not wish to do so.

This information is obtained for quality control and reporting purposes. The South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) requires the information of individuals enrolled in registered training courses in accordance with the Act and Regulation 16(4)(a). The Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Amendment Act, 2013 (Act No. 46 of 2013) requires companies to report on empowerment and educational spend towards the education of historically disadvantaged individuals. The Donor/Funder providing the Scholarship for enrolment in the education course may contact you as a quality control measure to confirm that a bona fide Scholarship was in fact awarded to you and that you enjoyed uninterrupted access to the subject matter and learning material. They may also wish to enquire whether you found the subject matter and quality beneficial. |
