This 40-hour self-study course helps you develop the knowledge and skills to improve your personal productivity by using Microsoft Outlook 2019. An individual earning this certification has approximately 150 hours of instruction and hands-on experience with the product, has proven competency at an industry associate-level and is ready to enter the job market. They can demonstrate the correct application of the principal features of Outlook and can complete tasks independently.

This course helps you understand the powerful and useful tools available in Outlook, and how you can use them to improve your productivity. You will learn about features and capabilities within Outlook through real-world activities for a fictional company. By becoming adept at using the features of Outlook, you can refine your email communication practices and improve your time management and organization skills. You’ll practice composing, sending, and managing emails and meeting invitations for your intended audiences.

  • Module 7 - Managing tasks and notes

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

  • Navigate the Outlook interface, add an Outlook account, set up calendar working times, and create an email signature.
  • Create new email messages, respond to email by using Reply and Forward, and manage email attachments.
  • Manage, tag, find, move, and organize mail messages.
  • Automate mail message workflows and processes.
  • Create, respond to, and manage calendar appointments, meetings, and schedules.
  • Create, manage, and share contacts and contact groups.
  • Create and manage tasks and notes.


Warm-up and Wrap-up Quizzes as well as 7 Cornerstone projects. A final Capstone project combines all the modules newly acquired knowledge in a final assessment. 


Exam MO-400: Microsoft Outlook (Outlook and Outlook 2019)

A certificate will be issued on completion. If the delegate wants to do the official Microsoft  MO-400: Microsoft Outlook (Outlook and Outlook 2019) exam, they will need a 70% pass rate and the exam is scheduled through our Mobile Certiport Testing centre, offering you the opportunity to certify in a globally recognised certification from your office or home. You will receive a certificate of completion when you have done the full course.
